Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday revealed that the United States and Iran are holding “indirect talks” with Pakistan acting as a messenger between the two countries.
Addressing media speculation on the conflict in the Middle East, Dar said on X that the US has shared 15 points currently under consideration by Iran.
He added that allied nations, including Turkey and Egypt, are supporting the initiative.
“Pakistan remains fully committed to promoting peace and continues to make every effort to ensure stability in the region and beyond,” Dar stated, emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy are the only path forward.
